Clark's Harbour Colombian - Medium/Dark Roast (Fresh Roasted in Canada)
We’ve named this special Colombian coffee after the most southern coastal town in Canada, Clark’s Harbour. The town is situated on beautiful Cape Sable Island; which is famous for its fishing, especially lobster! But, you can’t ignore its scenic windswept beaches and the sense of relaxation it inspires once you hit its shores, nor its friendly people.
Clark’s Harbour is also the birth place of the Cape Island fishing boat, with the original vessel constructed between 1905-1907. The design is said to be inspired by a seagull floating gracefully in the water with its chest high and back held low in the water. The ‘Cape Islander’ is built to withstand the rough Atlantic seas and is a testament to local craft and innovation. Today you will find Cape Island style vessels in fishing ports all along the east coast of Canada, the United States and beyond.
Tasting notes include a sweet flavour, pleasing acidity, stone fruit, red berry, brown sugar, with a citrus finish. Organic specialty single origin coffee freshly roasted right here in Nova Scotia, by the sea!
